What should I wear?

The dreaded question… what to wear? This is an important consideration! First, you must stay true to who you are. Be comfortable. Then, kick it up just a tiny notch! The days of “matchy-matchy” are long gone. I encourage you to pick a color palette and coordinate from there. It’s usually best to avoid overwhelming amounts of black or white, and always avoid logos and brand names. I encourage you to search Pinterest for coordinating outfit ideas!

What if my kid won’t cooperate?

I get it! I have one of “those” kids myself… the kind that runs away from the camera and won’t smile. I promise I will do everything I can to get your little one to smile, but please remember I am not a magician. In extreme circumstances (i.e. crying the entire session), we can make arrangements for a re-shoot.

Do you have a studio? Where should we take our pictures?

I do not consider myself a studio photographer. (With the exception of newborns- read more about that here.) I like to think of the great outdoors as my studio! I love trying new locations around Lufkin/Nac, but I also have a few favorites. Once you book, we will come up with the perfect location for your session together.

What if I need to reschedule?

No problem! I am a mother of 3 myself… I know life can get crazy and sickness can creep up. Please try to contact me at least 24 hours in advance in the event that you need to reschedule.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, I do require a small deposit in order to secure your session date. This is a non-refundable fee.

How long will it take before I can see my images?

I know you are anxious to see your photos! Galleries will be ready for viewing within 2-4 weeks of your session. I will do my best to get a sneak peek (1-2 images) posted to my Facebook page as soon as I am able.

You took so many pictures! Do I get them all?

You will hear my camera clicking a lot! I take a lot of images in order to capture that perfect moment. No, you won’t get every image that I take. I will choose the best of the best and those images will be edited and placed in your gallery.

How will I get my images?

Once your images are completed, they will be placed in a customized online gallery. I will send you a link to your gallery and you will be able to download the full-size images from there, along with a print release. Should you want professional prints, you will be able to order them directly from your gallery. I only guarantee print quality when ordered through your gallery.
